A Grace-Filled Retreat in Arusha

In the month of August, the Oblates of the Assumption gathered in Arusha for a spiritually enriching retreat that brought together some sisters from Kenya, Tanzania, and Rwanda. This special time of prayer and reflection offered an opportunity to step away from daily responsibilities and renew their commitment to religious life and mission in a spirit of unity and sisterhood.

The retreat was animated by Fr. Linto, a Vincentian priest serving in Dar es Salaam, whose guidance helped the sisters to deepen their relationship with God. Through moments of silence, meditation on the Word of God, and shared reflections, the participants were invited to rediscover the joy of their vocation and the call to ongoing conversion.

This retreat became a moment of grace, strengthening bonds across communities and cultures while renewing the sisters’ zeal for evangelisation. As they return to their respective missions, they carry with them a renewed spirit, ready to continue witnessing to the Gospel with faith, hope, and love.
