Our Mission in East Africa

The East Africa Province of the Oblates of the Sisters of the Assumption is part of the international religious family inspired by the spirituality of the Assumption. The Oblates dedicate their lives to the service of the Church and the people of God through pastoral ministry, education, and social outreach.

The Province works closely with local dioceses and communities in order to strengthen faith, promote justice, and support the holistic development of society. Through their ministries, the Oblates strive to bring the Gospel values to everyday life and to serve especially the most vulnerable members of society.
