VISIT TO THE ORPHANAGE π¬ 1 π 72
During the season of Advent, the probanists of the Oblates of the Assumption visited a local orphanage as a way of extending the Kingdom of God to the needy. In preparation, the sisters embraced the spirit of self-denial by collecting small contributions among themselves, which they used to purchase essential items that were later offered to the children. This was a sign of love, sacrifice, and generosity.
During the visit, the probanists shared joyful moments with the children through interaction, games, and companionship, bringing hope and warmth to their heart. At the same time, the experience deepened the sistersβ sense of compassion and mission, reminding them that in serving the needy, they encounter Christ Himself. It was a beautiful expression of evangelisation, where sharing their joy became a living witness of Godβs love.
